On September 16, Sonic Serenity celebrates its first anniversary – one year of weaving yoga, music, and community into a living ritual of awakening.
For this special edition, we are honored to welcome Anthony Child aka Surgeon, performing a live & DJ set created especially for Sonic Serenity. Beyond his pioneering role in electronic music, Anthony is a long-time Ashtanga Yoga practitioner. His deep understanding of yoga allows him to craft vibrations that meet the practice from within — music that resonates with the body, awakens awareness, and opens pathways into transcendence.
Anthony also collaborates in The Transcendence Orchestra with Dan Bean, exploring immersive drones and ritual vibrations that dissolve the boundary between sound and listener. For this anniversary session, he brings that same spirit of transcendence into Sonic Serenity: A sonic journey designed to meet yoga in its essence.
Guided by Juju, through a special extended Razor’s Edge practice, we will enter a field of precision, sharp presence, and expanded awareness. This sequence is offered in gratitude to my teacher Anja and to Three Boons Yoga Berlin, whose vision supports us in realizing new ways of uniting yoga, sound, community, and balance — building spaces where body, breath, and music move as one.
This is not just a Yoga practice. It is a journey into non-duality, True Self, and Oneness — where silence and vibration merge, and where freedom is not something we achieve, but something we remember.
ABOUT THE 3B SONIC SERENITY PROJECT:
A new yoga class concept with Julietta aka Juju supported by different live DJs from the scene that happens in a monthly rotation at 8:15pm at 3BOONS YOGA BERLIN.

Having invented JIVÆlectro in the 2010s when Anja was probably (one of) the first ones teaching (Jiva[n]mukti) Yoga classes with live Electro DJ sets in cities like Berlin, Moscow and New York, we are very super excited and happy to announce, that our dear JuJu @juju_ju_ and @julietta_yoga__030 is stepping into these footsteps and taking the idea to another level.

Juju’s spiritual journey parallels her musical one. Inspired by the positive energy of the sound system music scene, she practices yoga and meditation, believing that music and spirituality are intertwined. Every beat resonates with her soul, guiding her to a deeper understanding of herself and the universe in oneness.
With a mission to spread joy and raise vibrations, Juju often shares playlists and teaches yoga classes where music and mindfulness intertwine. She believes that through the power of bass, we can heal, connect, and elevate our spirits. Always exploring new sounds and spiritual practices, Juju is a vibrant spirit who invites everyone to join her on this rhythmic journey of self-discovery and community.
ANTHONY CHILD a.k.a. Surgeon
Since 1998, Surgeon has performed live and released his more tonal, esoteric, and meditative projects under his given name Anthony Child, with releases on FatCat, NNA Tapes, Frequency Domain, Manifold, Tesla Tapes, and Editions Mego.
His live performances are too intense to ever be described as ‘ambient’ and steer clear of dreary industrial clichés. Instead, they lead the audience through a visceral transformative experience into the light.
There have also been collaborations with Mick Harris as Certain Beyond All Reasonable Doubt (Manifold Records), Andrew Read on the Guitar Treatments album (FatCat and K2 O Records), Gnod for Behind The Lids (Tesla Tapes), as well as the ongoing live and studio project with Daniel Bean as The Transcendence Orchestra (Editions Mego).
