GODDESSES, THE EMPOWERING QUALITIES OF FEMALE DIVINITIES: TARA - COURAGE IN COMPASSION

GODDESSES, THE EMPOWERING QUALITIES OF FEMALE DIVINITIES

TARA - COURAGE IN COMPASSION
A Special Jivamukti Open with Émeline & Zorana

Goddesses are female deities representing power, nature, human experiences often worshipped for aspects like love, fertility, war, or wisdom.

Among them, Tara does not wait. She moves. She responds. She acts — even in the face of uncertainty.

As a female deity embodying compassion in action, Tara represents the power to meet life exactly as it is — with courage, presence, and an open heart.

In times where there is so much unrest, suffering, and disconnection, this quality becomes not abstract, but essential.

This special Jivanmukti practice invites you into that space: where challenge meets compassion, and where the breath becomes your guide.

Expect a dynamic, physically engaging practice that asks for presence, focus, and willingness. Not to push harder — but to listen deeper.

Because when things get intense, the breath is what leads you through.
• Strong, fluid Jivanmukti asana practice
• Breath as the anchor through challenge
• Mantra and live harmonium to open and steady the heart

Held by Émeline and Zorana — two voices, two energies, weaving together strength and sensitivity, grounding and expansion — this class carries a unique depth and rhythm.

Inspired by the wisdom of Tara, we explore what it means to be held by what we hold — cultivating compassion not as an idea, but as a practice.

Tara reminds us: courage and compassion are not separate. They are one.

Step in. Stay with the breath. Move through.

Zorana

Zorana’s interest in yoga began with a question she has carried since childhood: Who are we beyond the identity printed on a passport? She was born in a country that no longer exists — an experience that shaped her curiosity about belonging and what remains when external definitions fall away.

For Zorana, yoga is rooted in the classical definition from the Yoga Sūtra:
Yogaś citta-vṛtti-nirodhaḥ — Yoga is the suspension of the fluctuations of the mind.

To her, this means loosening the constant coloring of the mind — the judgments and narratives through which we interpret the world. It is not abstract, but the willingness to sit, breathe, observe, and allow space.

For a long time, she believed strength meant staying productive and managing everything well. Only later did she recognize how easily busyness becomes avoidance. Turning toward what arises, rather than covering it, is where practice begins.

Zorana has been teaching since summer 2023. In August 2025, she began her mentorship with Rowena Johnson, whose trust and guidance continue to shape her work as a teacher.

Alongside her teaching at Three Boons, she works as a seminar leader in medical centers across Germany, integrating yoga into neuro-orthopaedic therapeutic settings. She also works as a consultant in the public sector.

Émeline

»Separateness is an illusion.«

Émeline began her yoga journey at Three Boons Yoga Berlin (fka Jivamukti Berlin) in 2016 and has since then graduated here. She follows the method of Sharon Gannon and David Life, teaching a yoga of compassion and devotion and currently is undergoing a 630+ Hours mentoring program with Anja.

She also works as a neurotherapist specialising in trauma detachment and is forever grateful, through the teaching of yoga and neuro practice, to have the opportunity to help people on all levels: physical, psychological and spiritual.

Émeline grew up in the mountains and started to read oracles and tarots at the age of 15 and never left her decks behind since then.
