NEW MOON IN TAURUS – A SPECIAL JIVAMUKTI OPEN 95E+ FEAT. CACAO + CARDS

The practice of yoga reminds us that we are connected to all that is — Earth, Space, Heavens, Planets. Moon cycles offer us an opportunity to create space to (re-)connect and tune in to the greater cosmic rhythms we are part of.

A NEW MOON marks the beginning of a new cycle and invites us to take a sacred pause.

On May 16th, 2026, we welcome the New Moon in Taurus — a lunar cycle that carries the gentle yet powerful energy of grounding, nourishment, and steady growth. Unlike the fiery impulse of Aries, Taurus invites us to slow down, root deeply, and cultivate what we truly value. This New Moon is a moment when the cosmos supports us in creating stability — within our body, heart, and our life.

It is an invitation to reconnect with the earth beneath our feet, to move with intention, and to build from a place of inner calm and trust. Taurus is the energy of embodiment, of sensual presence, of devotion to what feels real and meaningful. It reminds us that growth does not need to be rushed — it unfolds naturally when we tend to it with care. This energy invites us to listen closely:  What truly nourishes you? What do you want to cultivate and sustain? Where are you ready to slow down and root deeper?

Taurus teaches us to honor the rhythm of nature, to find beauty in simplicity, and to trust in the abundance that arises when we feel safe, grounded, and connected. It calls us back into the body — into presence, pleasure, and quiet strength.

This 95-minute Jivamukti Yoga class includes chanting, asana, pranayama, and meditation. The grounding practice is followed by a ceremonial cacao ritual, inviting us to deepen our connection to the earth element — to feel centered, supported, and at home within ourselves. Cacao — known for its nourishing, heart-opening, and holistically healing qualities — supports us in softening, receiving, and connecting on all levels.

We then close by drawing a card for the new cycle (optional reading with our fairy Émeline), offering insight and guidance for what is ready to grow and unfold.
