Join us for profound 4 hours of immersing into chanting, satsang, stories, music, movement, and spiritual dialogue, guided personally by one of the foremost living carriers of the mystical Baul tradition of Bengal.
Through sacred song, poetry, rhythm, and direct transmission, the Bauls point toward a spirituality rooted not in dogma or outer structures, but in the direct experience of the Divine within the human heart. Maa Parvathy Baul’s gatherings are known not simply as performances or workshops, but as deeply experiential spaces of presence, devotion, listening, and transformation.
The afternoon may include sacred chanting, the learning of Baul songs transmitted through generations, meditative practices, stories, and open spiritual dialogue with questions and answers around sādhana, devotion, and the inner path.
No previous experience is required. However, this immersion is especially intended for sincere seekers and those genuinely interested in spiritual exploration and inner practice and will include:

MAA PARVATHY BAUL
Maa Parvathy Baul is internationally recognised as one of the foremost contemporary masters and lineage holders of the Baul tradition. Having studied for many years under the guidance of her gurus Sri Sanatan Das Baul and Sri Shashanko Goshai, she has dedicated her life to preserving and transmitting this ancient path.
For decades she has offered performances, workshops, and satsang internationally, including at universities, festivals, museums, and spiritual gatherings around the world.
Those who have encountered her work often describe her presence as deeply moving, immediate, and transformative. Each song carries a living tradition. Each gathering becomes an experience.
Recognising her lifelong dedication to preserving and transmitting the Baul tradition, Maa Parvathy Baul received the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award from the Government of India, one of the country’s highest recognitions for practicing artists, and was later honoured by the President of India.
Over the past decades, she has offered performances, workshops, and satsang in more than 40 countries at internationally renowned institutions, museums, festivals, and universities including Yale University, Stanford University, the British Museum London, and the Musée du Quai Branly Paris.
The Baul tradition itself has also been recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

RESERVATION PROCEDURE: Due to the limited number of spaces available for workshops we only accept binding reservations with full pre-payment of the workshop fees. With full payment of the workshop fee you are firmly booked for the workshop (we reserve the right to turn down registrations in case an event is sold out; in this case the date/time of receipt of the full payment is relevant). In case you cannot come, you can name another person who can come instead of you.
By booking workshops with us, you are accepting our standard booking conditions for workshops and seminars. Please note: Once we received your payment your spot at the workshop is firmly booked and the workshop fee cannot be refunded. Specifically, there is not right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) for bookings of special events like workshops/masterclasses However, if you are prevented to come, you can name a replacement person, who has not yet registered with us, who can come instead of you. In case the workshops sell out, spots will be given in the order the payment is received.
